Surya,one of the women featured in Kollavarsham 1200 gathered Poochakuru (Coix lacryma-jobi, commonly known as Job’s Tears) from around her neighbourhood in Appanchira, Kaduthuruthy, and made each bracelet by hand. She also made the Wedelia paper, writing a different thought on each piece.
Every box is unique. Natural variations in the seeds, handmade paper, and handwriting are part of the work.
